All-Star Crap

Why is it that the All-Star teams never get it right? I heard that it's not all the managers fault since between the fan voting and player voting that already 22 players or something. Then they have to pick Royals and D-Rays so that they don't have as much choice in the matter.

That's why we need to get rid of fan voting. The fans don't have any idea what they're talking about. Why should Cal Ripken get voted in year after year even when he was broken and barely playing anymore. This year's prime example . . . the 30th man selection AJ Pierzynski. Pierzynski was probably the 5th place in that voting. I mean Liriano and then Hafner, but even the other guys blew him away. That sucks.

And then other things don't make sense. With all this discussion of how the all-star game counts now there should not be team requirements anymore. MLB needs to decide whether the game counts or the game is an exhibition. There should not be an important game that has Royals on the field (sorry Nick). If the game counts let them pick whoever they want, the fans shouldn't decide everything. If the game is for the fans it shouldn't "count". Of course with that said, homefield in the World Series hasn't meant that much lately with all of the sweeps.

New Thoughts

I am not joining Facebook.
Johan sucks, he gave up a hit and a walk. But does have a 2-0 lead on the Royals
David Bell does have a big problem - he sucks.

Here's a good line for fantasy pitching
