Survivor: Gabon - Episode 1711... NOT!
As someone who DVRs these episodes, I was really looking forward to Saturday morning, when I was going to watch Episodes 1710 and 1711 back-to-back.
And then... the preview for Episode 1711 has (perhaps) the shocker of the season: Bob claims Marcus didn't throw the immunity idol into the ocean, and he knows where it is! If true, this is huge. First, Bob suddenly becomes fairly powerful in the game. Second, it might be why Bob let Randy play his fake idol last week. I was pretty confused about why he didn't try to leverage the fake idol, but if has had a real idol in his back pocket the whole time, well, now I kind of understand.
Also, if true, how awesome is Marcus? He really truly was in control of the game until the 2nd tribal shakeup led to Suzie switching sides. Just goes to show...
Anyway, I was stoked (as they say) for Episode 1711. But then, as you already know, Thursday's episode was the hated "Clip Show to try to rope in people who haven't been paying attention all season." I have a horrible memory, so I can't remember if this happens every Thanksgiving, but needless to say, after the excitement of the preview, this letdown only further soured me on the Clip Show, which is never very good to begin with. (Although I did enjoy the leeches! I also enjoyed hearing someone comment on Marcus' cute butt... and that person wasn't Charlie)
Don't let me down next week, Probst.

On the preview for Episode 1711.
I am very interested to see how this plays out with the other immunity idol. I can believe that Marcus palmed the immunity idol before tossing it back into the ocean. I think that I threw that one out there in my episode recap. I can't see Marcus giving the idol to Bob though. What does he have to gain from that one? He can't give it away after he's voted out so does that mean that he gave it to Bob before tribal? And since you have to declare whether you use it, I have to believe that if you give an idol to someone they will be using it - much like Randy.
We'll see what comes of this in the next week.
Nice use of tags on this post, Nick.
